SMOKED MACKEREL, SMOKED TROUT AND
SMOKIES
l Ask us to skin, pin and portion all fish to your requirements.
l All our fish is sold by weight, but if you want to order by the portion, we can price
by the portion, which may help your pricing.
l Give us a day's notice and your fish could be individually vacuum-packed - you could
put it straight into your freezer
Peppered mackerel fillets
These are finest smoked mackerel fillets, covered in crushed black peppercorns.
Smoked mackerel fillets
Plump fillets cured for us in a small smokehouse in Hull. Filletted, we can remove the pin bones if you require.
Smoked trout fillets
Fresh, vacuum-packed, very well boned, and about 140g in weight. We source these from a Somerset trout farm.
Whole smoked trout
Are delicious warmed in the microwave or served cold. Sometimes frozen, sometimes fresh. English, not the very dry Danish ones sold by most supermarkets. 225g+ size.
Arbroath smokies
Not mock smokies, as are sold elsewhere, but really from Arbroath. About 280g each, smoked till cooked. Rewarm or eat cold. Serve them as a starter as well. There is nothing more Scottish for Burns night or the New Year.
