MUSSELS

Live mussels

From Exmouth, Dorset and Shetland, the finest available. Good quality,

we sell 100s of lbs a week. Either bed grown, which may have a few barnacles,

but are larger and fuller, or rope-grown, which are cleaner but smaller.

Same price for both.

Vacuum-packed mussels

Cooked and frozen, rope grown, in 1kg packs. Convenient.

Mussel meat

Frozen. Ideal in salads, paellas, soups, garnishes, etc. Just defrost and use as

it is, or add to cooked dishes at the end of cooking time.

Green-lipped mussels

Cooked and frozen on the half shell, steamed (not boiled), to retain their flavour.
